The Community

 While I was imprisoned with James Fowler his spirit remained high. He directed me to read certain scriptures in the Bible and we prayed that GOD would deliver us from oppression. I am now home and my brother will not be left behind. Justice 4 James!!

 My name is Gary Makell. I met James Fowler in Elementary. He came from a caring and loving family. I like the way James love God, family and sports. He inspired me to get into boxing. I learned discipline, hard work and caring for others from James.

 

 I am a Paralegal Investigator that personally worked on the James Fowler case. Upon my investigation, I discovered evidence that James Fowler is an innocent man and there is a great injustice that has happened in his case

My name is Curtis and I met James 22 years ago. During my time of knowing James we had conversations about life, his case, and family. We became really close friends and having these conversations I realized that this man was truly innocent. It's a lot of people in jail that will claim this, but it was evident with him. It really breaks my heart to know that a innocent man is serving a life sentence for something he really didn't do. I ask that whoever visits this site and read this, please support us in trying to get Justice4James! Thank you.
 

 James, can’t say “THANK YOU” enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have such a huge impact on my life. I would not be half the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself. You taught me that you don’t always have to be strong. You are allowed to break down as long as you pick yourself back up and keep moving forward. I know that you don’t believe in things happening for a reason so I can believe for the both of us that you were brought into my life for a reason. Thanks for encouraging me loving me and supporting me!!
 

I’ve known James Fowler for over 30 years, we grew up in the same town, went to the same high school and hung out occasionally. Everyone knows about the unfortunate events that cost James his freedom. James is very fortunate to have family and friends who stuck by him after all these years, I could come up with some fancy words to describe his character but I think that the fact he has so much support from his community and family speaks volumes! James has always been a “Stand-up guy” with a big heart.

The injustices within James cases are monumental. And we need monumental support to combat it. READ, ACKNOWLEDGE, CONNECT, SUPPORT!

HIS LIFE MATTERS: James has always been known for his smile, his athleticism, his good natured character, his desire to learn and his strong faith. Even under such current conditions along with his innocence, he has maintained these intricate qualities of self. Who would not want to get behind this force of strength? We will not rest until Justice is served and Liberty is fully regained. James Fowler deserves it! It is his rights. Do not be on the right road but headed in the wrong direction. The story is real, the facts are clear, the truth has been supported. Not it’s time for acknowledgement, correction and action.

 I have known James Fowler since high school.  From the day we've met James has been an integral part of my family.  James has proven to be a family oriented man, loving, kind, caring, compassionate and loyal. James is also a spiritual man and very uplifting.  He has been and continues to be a delightful and welcomed addition to our family.  James deserves a chance to share his gifts with our community.  Thanks.

My name is Minister Sharlene Mullings who attends Peculiar Generation under leadership of Pastor Bernardo Porter.  James Fowler always inspire and encourage me every time I talk to

him.  His encouraging words and positive energy always lift my spirits. He continues to give me hope when I’m feeling weary.  I thank God for James. I introduced James to my organization Unity 4 Us Community Outreach which is a 501 c3 that service young men & women coming out of the Prison System to help them Re-acclimate themselves back into society. James has spoken of interest in mentoring the youth men & women. We really need the skills James has to assist with our mentoring program. James has so much knowledge and will make this organization even more successful. Justice4james.

 It still stands true to what I have to say. I will add that since it’s going on almost 30 years since I’ve known James, his faith in GOD is always unimaginable. Over these past decades, I noticed how his faith has grown even stronger over time and will not be defeated by any negative circumstances. He amazes to this day and that is what I admire about him the most!
